In September 2015 I went to California for a hike in the Ansel Adams Wilderness of the Sierra Nevada. It is still one of my best hikes ever.
In August 2015 we did a hike in the Collegiate Peaks Wilderness of Colorado. It was great time with some of the best nature TV I’ve witnessed.
In July 2015 I hiked the Four Pass Loop in Colorado with Bob. It was great and a little crazy. Emblematic of my ‘young and dumb’ hiking days.
In March 2021 I did a hike in the Cheaha Wilderness with Carl, Travis, and the dogs. It was a great hike in an area I’d long wanted to visit.
In June 2019 I did a hike in the Big South Fork with Carl, Travis, and the dogs. We had one night in the woods and spent the last night at the fabulous Charit Creek Lodge.
In June 2022 I did a hike on the Peninsula Trail with Christian and the dogs. We enjoyed a night in the wood, a campfire, and gorgeous sunset on Lake Monroe.
In May 2022 I joined up with Travis to do my 2md hike in the Dolly Sods Wilderness of West Virginia. Despite some mud it was a great hike.
In July 2022 I returned to Glacier National Park for my 4th hike there. This trip we did a 30-mile, 3-day hike in the Many Glacier/Belly River area of Glacier.
I kicked off the 2022 hiking season in late March with my fourth backpacking trip to iconic Great Smoky Mountains National Park. We did a 3-day, 2-night, 22-mile hike in the Elmont area of the park.
